Black and White

I was second shooting for Harinder (www.singhphotography.ca) which I do quite often, and I’ve had this wedding sitting on the back burner for quite some time. I have always wanted to shoot a wedding in black and white because it’s a medium that just feels so nostalgic and elegant to me, there’s also a type of romance to black and white that just hits you.
I decided to put some of the images to the test and hopefully can shoot a complete wedding this way - this is a goal of mine - and make some really good memories in time.

Arsh and Jas

Sharan and Harpreet

Sabrina and Aneil

Sometimes I get the pleasure of shooting weddings alongside other phenomenal photographers and this was no exception, Singh Photography (www.singhphotography.ca) brought me along to photograph this double ceremony (Hindu and Christian) in Winnipeg. The reception was held at the Human Rights Museum and filled with detail, fun and excitement. Here are a few images that are my personal favorites.

Hope you enjoy them and a big THANK YOU to Harinder for letting me catch these moments.

Simi and Arinder | The Wedding

Well, it's here. After a short while let me introduce you to Simi and Arinder. What a fantastic couple indeed. The look in their eyes makes everything around them disappear, even me - and that's a good thing.

A beautiful Wedding filled with festivities and visitors from all over the globe attended. Arinder's family is from Birmingham, England and Simi's a local Winnipeger with family from out west. The laughter and love shared by everyone was a great beginning to a new life.

Enjoy the day.
